Are you longing for belonging and a real sense of “Home”?
Four years ago we built our own Tribe of twenty people. Every year we do a retreat on the coast. ( See above.) When we part we say, “See you on Monday! Drive safe! I love you!” We meet at least once a week.
This training teaches what works to create lasting, committed connection. The New Tribe Training has helped people create lasting tribes in Belgium, Hawaii and in our own Rogue Valley. We are proud of these successes.
Because it isn’t easy in a culture that is bent on disconnection.
The New Tribe Training will offer you a visceral experience of the joy of tribe and belonging. You will feel the connection as you get to know the processes which you will later be able to replicate from your experience.
The New Tribe Training model is non-residential. You can live in your own home and still explore the intimacy, gender safety and conflict resolution skills needed for an effective tribe. People also benefit by participating in and co-creating heart touching rituals and ceremonies relevant for today’s people and vital for tribing.
Asheville, NC will be our first East Coast Training. We expect it be held in early October and that it will fill up quickly. Begin this inspiring adventure by pre-registering at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Three and a half days and open to 24 participants. Bill Kauth and Zoe Alowan
Authors, seminar leaders, tribe builders, personal counselors with vast training background.
The “Time for Tribe” Training offered by Bill Kauth and Zoe Alowan, co-facilitated by Jack Wiens was an extraordinary experience. With their skillful and balanced leadership they drew the participants into such an atmosphere of such safety and trust, that intimacy was established almost immediately.
The facilitators provided and modeled 100% trustworthy leadership in everything they taught – they weren’t afraid to be real, human, and vulnerable along with the rest of us. Zoe brought in the feminine aspects with her beautiful singing, dance and ritual, which perfectly complemented the sensitive contributions of Bill and Jack as they guided us through the more masculine structured and strategic elements of the program. We learned and practiced the skills necessary for successful tribe-building. We bonded, discussed, listened, learned, and laughed a lot.
This type of training and tribe-building is the perfect antidote to the isolation and disillusionment that so many people feel today. I came away with the knowledge I needed on how to begin the process of establishing a tribe in my own community. I can’t say enough good things about this training and its leaders. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning how to establish their own family of choice.”

I experienced a piece of myself that makes being a champion possible. The leadership did the difficult dance of teaching, leading and presenting while staying connected with us as part of a temporary tribe. Kudus and much appreciated! – Michal Schaffer
Well Done! It was organized well. I didn’t feel rushed or “too much info overload” and the exercise were well paced, appropriate and very helpful! – Debra Sheetz
The leadership is Exemplary! The holding of the group, the modeling of relationship and the quality of the teaching were superb. – Susan Mashkes
Yvonne and I are fully aligned on all fronts for this project. Our “championship” is assured and we are completely confident in our situation and plans to recruit tribe members. – Jack Travis MD
